Bikes

I have two motorcycles currently, a 1980 Harley Davidson FLH80, much modified, and a 1982 Suzuki GS750E which is completely stock. I try to ride them about equally.

I started riding in about 1965, on a Triumph Tina scooter, and then graduated to a 650 TriBSA - BSA Gold Star frame with a Triumph 650 engine, and later on rode a Ural Mars for some time. I stopped riding after I first got married, in about 1978 I think, and only started again in 2001.

When I first rode, it was purely for transport and in all weathers, but now it is purely for fun, so I never plan a ride, I just go on impulse if the weather is OK and follow the front wheel for an hour or two.

In 2007 I got a video camera, and now film any parts of the ride that look as if they may be interesting. You can see some of the results under the Rides link.
